He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Neel and Doris Neel (Beck). He is survived by: his wife Jean Stromberg of Grand Island; his children, Christine Shenk (Darren) of Grand Island and Todd Neel (Sheila) of Clarks; his grandchildren, Megan Ancheta (Dustin), Riley Shenk and Josey Neel; his great grandchild Rowan Ancheta; and his brothers, Jack Neel (Sally) of Clarks and Ron Neel (Judie) of Castle Pines, CO..

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
