He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grant and Alice Lorraine Willits (Johnson); his sister Pam Willits Mesner; and his in-laws, Wes and Lois Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Carita Peterson of Clarks; his sons, Jason (Veridiana) of Wilmington, DE and Grant Willits (Megan); his grandchildren, Pacey, Izzabelle, Leo, Emmett and Kai of Sioux Center, IA; his daughter Alyssa Willits; his grandchild Neena of Oklahoma City; his sisters, Sharon Johnson of Polk, Delores Rahrs (Jack) of Lincoln and Bev Autrey (Dave) of Surprise, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Mesner of Central City, Louise Wheeler (Dean) of Osceola, Karen Bugbee (Bruce) of Taylor and Keith Peterson (Jane) of Osceola. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a host of friends.
