With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwen M. Kalb of Chappell, Nebraska, born in Sidney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gwen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gwen. Though Gwen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnson and Inez Johnson (Newberg); and her husband Gerald Kalb of Joseph's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Kalb (Trish) of Albuquerque and Jennifer Wortmann (Todd) of Englewood, Colorado; her grandchildren, Marie, Brian Kalb, Trevor and Cassidy Wortmann; and her sister Charleen Wilber of Julesburg. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Julesburg in Gwen's memory.
