He is survived by: his siblings, Dean Mathis and Sharon Mathis of Grand Island; his children, Greg Mathis of Minneapolis, Jill Mathis of Englewood and Kyla Lilienthal (Ryan) of Grand Island; his grandchildren, Presley, Taylan and Cash Lilienthal; his nephew Mike Mathis (Linda); and his niece Lisa Bean (Daron).
In lieu of plants, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
