She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sternhagen and Jennie Sternhagen; her husband Skip; her grandson Robert Eaton; and her siblings, Leroy Sternhagen, Mildred Hammer and Alvin Sternhagen.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sydney and Kori; her children, Terry Eaton (Pam), Sydney Gottwald Chadron and Kori Gaswick (Brent); her sister Barbara Doty Somerville (Loyd); and her sister-in-law Loyce Sternagen North. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chamberlain Chapel (1700 US-20, Chadron, NE 69337).
Memorials may be made to Chadron Volunteer Fire Department or Chadron Public Library.
