He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Bernard Owen and Eunice Owen; his sister Cindy; and his brother-in-law Dr. Doug Stokes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Owen; his children, Zachary Owen (Karyn) of Crawford, NE, Lacey Merkel (Mitch) of Guelph, ND and Jonathan Owen (Kimmi) of Chadron, NE; his grandchildren, Jackson, Levi, Reese, Ethan, Quinn, Eva, Gavin, Hudson and Pearl; and his sisters, Dixie Gaswick (Lowell) of Lincoln, NE and Pat Peterson (Vern) of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Chadron SDA Church, PO Box 351, Chadron, NE, 69337. The Terry Owen Memorial Fund will to be used for the Thrive Center addition, currently under construction.
