It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley L Hayes of Chadron, Nebraska, born in Edgemont, South Dakota, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Cheryl Lien; her parents, Jim Horning and Mary Horning; and her husbands, Glen Brower, Raymond Englert and Ron Hayes.

She is survived by: her children, Jody Docken (Brad), Cindy Bagneschi (Larry) and Scott Englert; her siblings, Bev Hendricks (DJ Tomac), Darrell Horning (Linda) and Dennis Horning; and her grandchildren, Erika, Jared, Tara, Alex, Alesha, Jerry, Dustin, David (Paige), Melonie (Kyle), Karmen, Leonard (Sara), Katie (Anthony), Brittany, Kenny, Dylan, Drey, Dax, Zoe, Lilah, Riley, Tigerlily, Zion, Kendrick, Dominick, Dominic and Lilly.
