Robert Rickenbach Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2021, at the age of 74, Robert Rickenbach of Chadron, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Rickenbach to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Rickenbach and True Rickenbach (Drake); his sons, Todd and Troy; and his parents-in-law, Gordon and Helen Redfern.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Redfern of Chadron; his son Rodd of Denver; his brother Rick; his daughter-in-law Michele of Chadron; his grandson Michael Kruse of Lincoln; his sister Anita Gilkey (Pat); his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Redfern (Chamberlain) and Linda Redfern; and also, Clyde Redfern, Gordon and Helen Redfern. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

To protect others during the Covid-19 pandemic, the family requests face masks be worn for the service.

Memorials have been established for the Todd and Troy Rickenbach Scholarship Fund at the Chadron State Foundation and the Chadron United Methodist Church.
