It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bates (Chadron, Nebraska), born in Clayton, New Mexico, who passed away on March 13, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tommy Wayne and Dora; and his brothers, Gene Jr and Tommy Jr.. He was also cherished by three nieces, two nephews, nine great nieces, five great nephews, and one great great nephew.
