It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peg Walgren (Chadron, Nebraska), who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Riley and Pearl Riley (Delmer); and her son Greg. She is survived by: her husband Delmer Walgren; her daughter-in-law Annette Langford of Hay Springs; her children, Kim Walgren (Jay Bogner) and Brad Walgren of Laramie, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Sarah England (Adam) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Bradley, Annie Walgren of Laramie, Wyoming, Sarah Oertel (Brandon) of Gold Hill, Oregon and KatiRose Callison (Paul) of Seattle, Washinigton..
Peg was selected as the inaugural Director of the new Sheridan County Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) where she continued to work for the next 19 years.
A memorial has been established and donations for the Hay Springs Volunteer Ambulance and the Hays Springs Methodist Church may be sent in care of Chamberlain Drabbels Mortuary, PO Box 440, Hay Springs, NE 69347.
