With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marybell Johnson (Chadron, Nebraska), who passed away on August 20, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wellnitz and Isabell Wellnitz (Lehman); her husband Doyle Johnson; her son Rodney; and her sisters, Pearl Walgren (Gerald) and Myrtle Roffers (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Cristopher, Sarah of Illinois, Carol Johnson of South Dakota, Malinda Smith (Kenny) of Rushville, Charlana Hjersmsan (Marcus) of Alliance, NE and Larry Johnson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Dani Bishay (John) and Rhoda Coomes (Cal) of Chadron; her great grandchildren, Jake Hunter (Kristen) of Chadron, Tyler Hunter (Maria) of Chadron, Mike Coomes (Julie) of Rushville, Kevin Coomes of Chadron, Lynda Scott of Gering and Crissy Olsen (Chris) of Harrisburg; and her siblings-in-law, Lorna Christofferson (Dale), Virginia Johnson of Hay Springs and Wes Wilsey of Hay Springs. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home and donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366 Gordon, NE 69343.
