It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack McCarter of Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William McCarter; his aunts, Rita Peters, Mary Beth Peters and Carol Peters; and his uncle Mike Rupe.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia McCarter (Peters) of Hay Springs; his children, Jennah McCarter-Ellis (William) of Scottsbluff, NE and Nate McCarter of Chadron, NE; his grandchildren, Chace, Ayla and Ripley of Scottsbluff; his siblings, Bill McCarter, Bob McCarter, Jim McCarter, Teresa Fuhr (Russ) and Susan Stroope (Mark); his aunt Lois Rupe; and his uncle Ron Peters (Connie). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
