He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Schlais and Margaret Schlais; his wife Karen; his son Bill (Eunice); and his sister Dorothy of Soldotna Alaska. He was also cherished by 2 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
