He was predeceased by: his father Larry Garvin; his brother Michael Garvin; his grandparents, Bea Garvin, Jim and Mariellen Soester; and his uncle James Bruer Soester.
He is survived by: his sons, Ben and BJ; his wife Robyn; his children, Aly Dane (Matt Colwell), Owen Rincker and Case Garvin; his sister Kelly (Leon Garza) of Chadron; his nieces and nephews, Brittany and Aiden; his daughters, Laila, Stella and Ava; his mother Ann Stephens of Crawford; his nieces, Kaylee and Tamra Garvin; his nephew Shawn Garvin; his grandfather Ben Garvin; his uncle Don Perham; his cousins, Sondra, Lisa and Greg; and also, Chris Rincker of Mirage Flats, Everett, Lola Rincker of Chadron and Seth (Katie).
