It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Elwess of Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doug Elwess to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Leonard and Hulda Louise Elwess (Reeves); and his siblings, Shirley, Charlotte Elwess, Juanita Joyce Griswald, Marvin Neil Elwess, Carolyn Joy Serrat, Gloria Arlene Cronan, Howard Lyle Elwess, Lois Anne Bezanson and Vera Louise Franck.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Mae (Tiny); his children, Laura Sue Elwess of Malcom, NE, Delwin Douglas Elwess (Karla) of Chadron, Nebraska, Leonard Loree Elwess (Patty) of Keyes, California and Gwendolyn Kay Dobberstein (Bruce) of Chamberlain; and his siblings, Connie Kay Colson, Samuel Lee Elwess, Dixie Diane Mooney and David Earl Elwess. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
