Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Kay in Chadron, Nebraska, born in Sterling, Colorado, who passed away at the age of 91, on July 26, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dull L. Kay and Stella Kay (Fenton); his spouse Shirley Mae Morgan; his parents-in-law, Robert Morgan and Mary Elizabeth Parkhurst; and his siblings, John Bryce Kay, Gordon Kay, Eddie Kay and Shirley.

He is survived by: his children, Patti (Pete Romanjenko) of Rapid City, SD and David Kay of Chadon; his grandchildren, Angie Kuiper (Mike) of Harrisburg, SD, Liz Ravenscroft (Kevin) of Nenzel, Kristen Hunter (Jake) of Chadron, Mike Blundell (Elena) of Hong Kong, Joy Weaver (Clay) of Rapid City, SD and Cathy Leth (Scott) of Torrington, WY; and his great grandchildren, William Kuiper, Kirk Kay, Emma Kuiper, Kayleigh Ravenscroft, Eli Hunter, Lilly Ravenscroft, Payten Hunter, Arianna Weaver and Jaelyn Weaver. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and especially great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Circle of Light or the Chadron Volunteer Fire Department. Donations can be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
