It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Mildred Schaeffer of Chadron, Nebraska, born in Axtell, Kansas, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude L. Temple and Velma M Temple (Campbell); her husband Herbert Schaffer; her daughter Susan Schaeffer; and her brother Howard Temple.
She is survived by: her sons, Ivan Schaeffer (Angie) of Gering, Barry Schaeffer (Darleen) of Lewellen and Gary Schaeffer (Denise) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and her sister Gloria Starr (Temple) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren six great-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; 18 grand nieces and nephews; and 11 great-grand nieces and nephews.
