Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Beverly Stitt of Chadron, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 82, on December 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter John and Hazel Elaine Trank (Stegeman); her husband Robert Harold Stitt; and her brother Doug. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Jo McInnis (Mike) of Windom, MN and Gordy Stitt (Trina) of Sidney, NE; her grandchildren, Jennifer Vasquez (Sev) of Castle Rock, CO, Annie Chen (Adeng), David McInnis of Omaha, NE, Nathan McInnis of Omaha, NE and Jill Cunard (Cory) of Lemars, IA; and her sister-in-law Joyce Santero of Lakewood, CO. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Bev always wanted to establish a scholarship fund to help older students with children who wish to return to college as she did. Memorials may be made in care of the Chadron State Foundation, POB 1210, Chadron, NE 69337, to be used in this manner.
