He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lichtenberger and Alta Lichtenberger (Townsend); and his siblings, Robert, Roe, Ross, Shirley and Coral.

He is survived by: his wife Joann; his daughter Rebecca Tockey (Dennis Zarek); his granddaughter Kascha Ventura (Ulysses); his great grandchildren, Sierra, Kira, Xavier and Bekka; his great great grandchild Thiago; and his brother Rex (Byrtilla). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
