She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wurtz and Josephine Wurtz (Lindberg); her husband Donald Douglas; her sisters, Arlyce Smeltzer and Barb Kohl; her daughter Barbara "Carol" Douglas; and her great grandchild Jessica Stofferahn.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Douglas (Kristy) of Independence, MO, Nancy Stofferahn (Ron) of Humboldt, NE, Paul Douglas (Kim) of Juniata, NE and Jean Fulton (Perry) of Albertville, MN; her brother Bill Wurtz (Pat) of Central City, NE; and her sister-in-law Kathy Douglas of Grand Island, NE. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.
