He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kristen Morr (Quade) and Shannon Okeefe (Brad); his grandchildren, Dalton, Dayton Morr, Caleb and Nikki Okeefe; his mother Alice Butt; his siblings, Richard Butt, Victoria Troastle, Bonnie Hanson (Maryl), Rick Butt (Wendee), Susan Linebaugh (Todd), Teena Paup (Nick) and Connie Holmes (Jim); his pets, Tank and Bella; his father Richard Butt; and his significant other Jacey Yarns. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
