He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Fringer and Esther Fringer; his wife Cindi Eihusen; his siblings, Allene, Orval, Verlin and Dolores; and his pet Cato.

He is survived by: his grandsons, John Fringer (Tricia) of Dallas, TX and Joe Fringer (Molly) of Clay Center.
