He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schwensen and Opal Schwensen (Foland); his siblings, Bill Schwensen, Sheryl Humrich and Curtis Schwensen; his nephew Bill "BJ" Schwensen; and his niece Melissa Humrich.
He is survived by: his wife Rose (Leander); his children, Shawn Schwensen (Tonya) of Topeka, KS, Corey Schwensen (Christy) of Lincoln, NE and Deanna Qualset (Adam) of Waverly, NE; his grandchildren, Antonia McFarlen (Jordan), Nicolas Schwensen (Rachel), Benjamin Schwensen, Laurel Schwensen, Katrina Schwensen, Amelia Schwensen, Terrence Schwensen, Ethan Qualset Maya Qualset (Julia Wingrove) and Jacob Qualset; his great grandchild Lewis McFarlen; his brother-in-law Bob Humrich (Linda); and his sisters, Glenda McIntosh and Tammy Schwensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
