He is survived by: his former wife Betty Schutz; his wife Cathy DeWitt of Central City; his children, Dale Swanson of Grand Island, Lynn Swanson of Central City, Jeff Swanson of Richardson and Kimberly Winnington of Elkton, Maryland.; his stepson Marty Stratton of Kearney, Nebraska.; and his sister-in-law Shelba Swanson of Central City.
