He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gress and Pearl Gress (Christensen); his wife Mrytle "Sue" Stephens; his sisters, Carolyn Gress and Marlene Gress; and his sister-in-law Laurie Gress.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Gress (Shannon) of Clarks, Doug Cooper (Tonya) of Grand Island, Brandy Lunsford (Steven) of Franklin and Cari Peabody (Jeff) of Utah; and his siblings, Maynard Gress of Hordville, Wayne Gress of Grand Island, Lyle Gress of Hordville, Calvin Gress of Central City and Lila Gress of Clarks. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
