He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell and Lola Mae Hoback (Beck); his sisters, Joyce Metzler and Karen Shonquist; his granddaughter Julianne Kay Hoback; and his niece Deborah Benak (Hillers).
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Wulf of Central City; his children, Kelly Hoback (Nicki) of Fullerton, Jessica Hoback of Grand Island, Mitchell Hoback of Kearney and Michael Hoback (Amber) of Chapman; his sisters, Ettagean Hillers of Bellevue and Edwardine Lindgreen (Gary) of Clarks; his brother-in-law Thomas Shonquist of LaVista; and his grandsons, Ethan, Wade and Mason Hoback. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
