It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna M. Volquardsen of Central City, Nebraska, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ward and Merle Crabtree (Haswell); her husband Warren Dale Volquardsen; her son Rodney Volquardsen; her sisters, Janelle Kanter and Dolores Dahlkoetter; and her nephews, Danny Dahlkoetter and Doug Dahlkoetter.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Bob) and Andrea Volquardsen of La Puente, CA; her sister Cloydette Cox of Boise, ID; and her grandchildren, Becky Butscher (David), Leah Zikmund (Brett), Justin Volquardsen, Bobbie Sue Pickering (Dave), Stacey Thompson (Larry) and Kim Nelson (Rod). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Solt-Wagner Funeral Home (1507 17th St, Central City, NE 68826).
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
