He is survived by: his sons, Donald Patrick and Donald Peters (Tonya) of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Lindy Nichole Peters; and his sister Velma Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, his family wishes that his love of fishing be perpetuated by giving a child a pole and taking him or her fishing.
