She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton McCollister and Alta Frink McCollister; her husband Willard; her son Dale Black; her son-in-law Bob Vokoun; and her brother Dale McCollister.

She is survived by: her brother Merlin; her children, Fairview Methodist Church, Linda Monson (Dick) of Loveland and Jolene Kopf (Dan) of Lexington; and her daughter-in-law Donna Black Jacupke of Newstrawn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

“I always enjoyed taking care of your mom. She would tell me about her writing for newspaper and her auxiliary work and of course her family whom she spoke very fondly of. I will miss her talking of Central City as my mom was from around the area so I enjoyed our little connection and oh how she wished she could still be in Central City. She was so sweet & gentle never anything harsh came out of her lips. Only genuine concern for me and family a true Christian lady I will miss our visits.”
