He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Batenhorst and Theresa Batenhorst (Halbur); his wife Eileen K. Matya; his sisters, Eileen Schmitz (George), Madelaine Germar and Jean Mahoney (Richard); his brother-in-law Dan Matya (Angela); his niece Margaret Bach; and his nephew Bill Germar.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Ballweg (Frank) of Spalding, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
