She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Joseph and Agatha Josephine Hartman (Ball); her husband Paul Krings of Anthony's Catholic Church; her children-in-law, Jerry Hurrell and Cathy Krings; her siblings, Ferdinand Hartman, Bud Hartman (Pearline) and Bernadine Ewing (Gordan); and her siblings-in-law, Rose Vandeloop (George), Clarence Krings (Lillian), Leona Rezanina (Frank), Esther Krings (Emil) and Helen Swerzcek (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Wlaschin (John) of Columbus, NE, Gary Krings (Leslie) of Greenwood, NE, Larry Krings of Albion, NE, Debbie Hillberg (Ron) of Yankton, SD and Cheryl Prothman (Tim) of David City, NE; her grandson Aaron Wlaschin (Rhonda) of Columbus, NE; and her children, Allan Wlaschin (Sandy) of Omaha, NE, Trisha Smolik (Brent) of Waverly, NE, Kenneth Krings (Tish) of Olathe, KS, Joseph Krings (Courtney) of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Krings (Lisa) of Lawrence, KS, Trinity Hurrell of Yankton, SD, Katrina Castenada of Yankton, SD, Brian Prothman (Jennifer) of David City, NE, Christopher Prothman (Shannon) of David City, NE and Tanya Prothman of David City, NE. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for designation to Pic's choices which are Cedar Rapids Fire and Rescue, Cedar Rapids Senior Center, and the St. Anthony's Catholic Church Endowment Fund.
