He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis James and Lorraine Clare Vech (Rasmussen); and his brother William Arthur Vech. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Loflin Vech (Beth); his children, Claire Vech Reeves (Lee) of Franklin and Franklin Hardaway Vech (Sara) of Cedar Bluffs, NE; his grandchildren, Charlotte Emerson Vech, Elliot Jacob Vech, Madeline Jane Vech, Rebecca Elizabeth Reeves, Dorothy Frances Reeves and Archer James Reeves; and his siblings, Steve Vech (Jane) of Ord, NE, Annette Hraban (Don) of Morse Bluff, NE and Susan Baker of Omaha, NE..
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (109 E 6th St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (3200 Military Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
