James Sweeney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2024, at the age of 88, James Sweeney of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, born in Fremont, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton'Bill' Sweeney and Selma Sweeney (Hansen); his wife Mary; and his brother Daniel Sweeney. He is survived by: his children, David Sweeney (Terri) of Buckeye, AZ, Michelle Hansen (Jay) of Fremont and Sandy Winkelman (Rich) of Leshara, NE; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole, Sara, Mary, Richard and Will. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Fremont Friendship Center or Pohocco Lutheran Church.
