It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth McCabe of Carroll, Nebraska, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen and Claude; her former husband Gary Tessmer; her husband Dr. Frank McCabe; her son Brian; and her siblings, Jane Bring, Bruce Marr, Warren Marr and Hugh Marr.
She is survived by: her significant other Carroll; her stepdaughter Mary McCabe Guynan; her children, Ruth, Frank, Kevin Tessmer, Scott Tessmer (Terri) and Mark Tessmer; her stepchildren, Mary Alice Guynan (Bob) and Mike McCabe; her grandchildren, Matt Guynan (Nikki), Mandy Yahnke (Brett), John Guynan (Jenna), Pat Tessmer (Jordan), Megan Vermeer (Drew), Molly Dotzler (Nick), Brian Tessmer and Emma Tessmer; and her great grandchildren, Caden, Jack, Sophi, Finn, Jackson, Elli, Lily, Foster, Mary Claire, Reagan, Leo, Theo, Graham and James. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews.
