It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby M. Fredrickson Nelson of Carroll, Nebraska, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Fredrickson and Averina Fredrickson (Sylvanus); her husband Vermond; her son Christian; and her great grandchild Aiden Bartling.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Bartling (Terry) of Wayne and Brian Nelson of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Kelly Ballinger (Larry) of Pender and Matthew Bartling (Pam) of Lincoln; her great grandchildren, Paige Hegge (Ben), Hallie Ballinger, Emma Bartling, Jakson Bartling and Rowan Bartling; and her great great grandchild Tatum Kay Hegge. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
At that time they were recognized by President Ronald Reagan for their contributions to education.
