He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Ryan Dowling of Carroll and Becca Gunnink (Brandon) of Edgerton, MN; his grandsons, Greyson Dowling and Jaxston Gunnink; his siblings, Nancy Bethune of O'Neill, Gloria Kudera (Gordon) of Pierce, Wayne Dowling (Kathleen) of Tribune, KS, Marilyn Brauer (Richard) of Norfolk, Dean Dowling (Brenda) of Hartington and Lisa Carpenter (Rob) of Lincoln; his mother-in-law June Schoonover of Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Schoonover of Lincoln and Robert Lee Jr. Schoonover (Jan) of Avoca. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
