He is survived by: his parents, James Hurt (Elizabeth) of Purvis and Sarah Alexander (Loy) of Carroll, NE; his siblings, James Hurt of Purvis, John Hurt of Lumberton, Jerri Daugherty (Jefferson Hurt), Eli (Kadin Alexander) and Christopher Montgomery (Kristan Holifield); and his grandmother Kathy Saujon of Hattiesburg. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces and nephews, and so enjoyed being a brother and an uncle.
