It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Jensen of Carroll, Nebraska, born in Bloomfield, Nebraska, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Enos "Charlie" Lukens and Mary Elizabeth Lukens (McDonald); her husband Lyle Jensen; her grandson-in-law Peter Lux; her siblings, Phylis Butler (Buck), Dorthy Groves (Max), Nellie Beckman (Alfred), Donald Lukens (Hazel), Lyle Lukens, Virlyn Lukens (Marvel), Lee Lukens and Leland Lukens; her siblings-in-law, Harold Langmack, Ernest Beckman, Duane Thurstan and Sharon Lukens; and her parents-in-law, Allan Arthur and Henrietta Anna Jensen (Scheer).

She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth (Deanna) of Winside and James (Danetta) of Lincoln; her granddaughters, Nicole Sok (Andrew) of Norfolk, Page Frahm (Cory) of Yankton, SD, Brianna Pautz (Jeff) of Lincoln, Natasha Lux of Norfolk, Morgan Magwire (Chase) of Winside and Alyssa Jensen of Lincoln; her siblings, Evelyn Beckmann of Bloomfield, Edna Thurston of Omaha, Viva Langmack of Emerson, Loran Lukens (Arlene) of Bloomfield and Dennis Lukens of Paonia, CO; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Lukens of Story City, IA and Ela May Lukens of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons.
