He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Schropfer and Rosilda Schropfer (Breault); his wife Barbara; his stepson Richard "Dick" (Claudia Maska); and his stepgranddaughters, Taffy Lewis and Monica Maska.
He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Schropfer; his stepdaughter Beverly (Ron Morrison); his granddaughter Meghan (Derek Hoshaw); his great grandchildren, Beckett, Ariah and Elliott Hoshaw; and his stepgrandchildren, Erle, Kelly Seybold, Mike, Becky Seybold, Troy, Gina Seybold, Tessa, Chris Kuehn, David, Stephanie Maska, Adam, Melissa Maska and Rob Lewis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
