She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethridge Price (Bounce) and Adrienne Price (Howard); her husband Richard B. Hayes, Jr. (Dick); her parents-in-law, Richard (Dick) and Mae Hayes; her grandson Craig R. Nelms; her brother L. Eugene; her sister-in-law Eileen Messersmith; her niece Mary Jo Dutton; and her nephew Steve Messersmith.
She is survived by: her children, David Hayes (Linda) of Goldsboro, NC, Dallas Hayes (Teresa) of Greenwood, NE and Sue Nelms (Dann) of Benkelman, NE; and her grandchildren, Allen Hayes (Johnna), Curtis Hayes, Wesley Hayes (Kerianne), Brandi Gufford (Justin), Tyler Hayes (Shannon), Brent Nelms (Melissa), Kelli Jensen (Justin), Julie Nelms, Laura Nelms (Steven Boyd) and Mark Nelms. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
