He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Newcomb and Pearl Newcomb (Cotton); his siblings, Phyllis, Paul (Wilma), Ralph (Ruby), George (Roberta), Roger (Marilyn) and Esther Nickerson (Harold); his nieces, Marie Degner (Ray) and Glenda Fantoni; and his great-nephews, Mike, Barry Degner, Kyle and Tyler Nickerson. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
