He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude E. Johnson and Ada L. Johnson (Marples); his siblings, Donna Miller (Robert), Norma Smith (Robert) and Carl Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Paul Zabel, Gaylord Bellamy and Robert Foster; and his great grandchild Joshua Lee Cardwell.
He is survived by: his children, Von Johnson (Becky), Steven Johnson (Eileen), Tamara Johnson and Todd Johnson (Kristen); his grandchildren, Tara Kampen (William), Kimberly Huxoll (Ryan), Michael Johnson (Erin), April Cardwell (Jeremy), Jay Johnson (Jordan), Jackson Johnson (Justina), Sydney White (Stuart), Isaac Johnson (Breezy) and Sloan Johnson (Taylor Kubik); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Madalyn Kampen, Reid Huxoll, Smith Johnson, Brecksen, Mason Cardwell, Reeslyn, Wrigley, Ryer Johnson, Lincoln, Nolan Johnson, Clarke, Pierce White, Emery and Sammi Johnson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary - Cambridge Lockenour (604 Penn St, Cambridge, NE 69022). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Community Church (620 Penn St, Cambridge, NE 69022).
