She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Jo Stewart (Brooks) of Cambridge, NE and Harlan Stewart; her husband Jimmy Lee Tellus of Cambridge, NE; and her grandparents, Albert Brooks (Bud), Lola Brooks (Crampton) of Indianola, NE, Everett and Ethel Stewart (Beeson) of Bartely, NE..
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Tellus (Anthony Rainone) of Brooklyn, NY and Jason Tellus (Jamie); her grandchildren, Elaine Sudbeck (Jacob Sudbeck) of Yankton, SD, Benjamin Tellus of Sioux Falls, SD and Rebecca Tellus (Auston Naber) of Mission Hill, SD; her great grandchildren, Owen Sudbeck and Myles Sudbeck of Yankton; her grandson Antonio Alvarez of Mission Hill, SD; her sister Debra Kratochvil (Randy Kratochvil) of Kearney, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Chuck Tellus (Dixie), Steve Tellus (Michelle) and Joann Carpenter of Denver, CO. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and grandnephews, grandnieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (515 Nelson St, Cambridge, NE 69022). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family of Kathy Tellus for future designation.
