She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Hilburn and Lula Hilburn (Bunch); her husband Dale Van Meter; her grandson Joshua Lovin; her husband Archie; her siblings, Oliver, Clyde, Dean, Wilford, Merle, Charlotte, Gladys and Hazel; and her siblings-in-law, Marge Hilburn, Bus Wilson and Jim Hartman.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Lovin (Jack) of Wichita, KS, Erlene Chavez (Danial) of San Jose, CA and Tim Nejdl (Jolene) of Quinter, KS; her siblings, Jim Hilburn of Hoxie, KS, Margaret Wilson of Loveland, CO, Keith Hilburn (Karen) of Logan, KS, Clarence Hilburn (Dana) of Kansas City, MO and Grace Hartman of Shawnee Mission, KS; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Hilburn of Hill City, KS and Delpha Hilburn of Pueblo, CO; and her close friend Lloyd Frandsen of Cambridge, NE.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
