He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer E. Rice and Jewell F Rice (Hardin); his wife Crystal Jurey; his sister Harriet Schroeder; and his brother-in-law Bob Underwood.
He is survived by: his children, Tami Tetley (Greg) of Cambridge, Deb Helms (Dale), Holbrook and Doug Rice (Laura) of Loveland, CO; and his sister Virginia Underwood of Norton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
