He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold W. Hilton (Lucile) and Lucile C. Hilton (Johnson); his father-in-law Harold Joseph (Elizabeth); his sister Shirley Linderholm (Robert); his wife Gloria Joseph; his children, Neil Hilton (Pam) of Grant, NE and Andela Taylor (Dave) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Olivia Taylor, Chase and Grant Hilton; his siblings, Kenneth Hilton (Peggy) of Cambridge and Colleen Kamm (Phillip) of Kearney, NE.; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Kay Sexton (Dan), Nancy Cruise (Russ) and Paul Joseph (Kathy). He was also cherished by Fourteen nieces and nephews, their spouses and families, loved cousins and friends.

Memorials may be given to the church in his honor.
