He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard John and Daisy Florence Behnke (Anderson); his daughter Juanita; and his siblings, Rose Marie, Roberta, Helen, Florence, Matthew, Vernon, Robert and John.
He is survived by: his wife Iva Behnke of Indianola; his son Daniel Behnke of Lexington; his brother Donald (Donna) of Indianola; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley of Bakersfield, CA and Linda of Kearney. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
