It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lon Thomas Birnie (Callaway, Nebraska), who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Birnie and Grace Birnie (Eggleston); and his son Monty. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; his husband Ron Urbach of Hemet, Calif.; his daughter Marci; his husband Stuart Gilbertson of Kearney; and his grandchildren, Ryan Urbach (Julie) of Vista, Matthew Birnie (Shilo) of Mesa, Ariz., Jessica Gruntorad (Riley) of Lexington and Jordan Cretacci (Tyler) of Amherst.
