With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathren Irene Henry of Callaway, Nebraska, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie A Crow and Sophia N. J. Crow (Beyer); her husband Duane B. Henry of Callaway; her parents-in-law, Melvin A. and Mabel L. Henry; her siblings, Bob, Darrell Crow, Helen Hickenbottom Dorris, Eloise Walker Hayward and Burdette Deterding; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Hickenbottom, Gerald Dorris, Glenn Walker, Bill Hayward, Stanley Deterding, LaMoyne Johnston, John Leonard, Mona Crow and Pat Crow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Bruns (Lee) of Callaway and Pam Woodward (Shale) of Alliance; her grandchildren, Duane Kimball (Carla) of Callaway, Amy Tinley (Kevin) of Bennington, Blake Woodward (Rachel) of Aberdeen, S. D., Cole Woodward of Lincoln and Ashley Heimbouch (Tom) of Gering; her great grandchildren, Emily Kaelin (Court) of Sumner, Lucy Kimball of Callaway, Ella and Sophia Tinley of Bennington; her grandchild Harper Heimbouch of Gering; her stepgrandsons, Barry Bruns of Gretna and Jason Bruns (Jessica) of Lincoln; her sister Sharen Johnston Leonard of North Platte; and her sister-in-law Norma Jean Henry of Broken Bow. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (206 E Kimball St, Callaway, NE 68825). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar Callaway United Methodist Church (207 E Morse St, Callaway, NE 68825).
