He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd LeRoy and Addalecia Myrtle Patterson (McFate); his son Bruce; and his sister LaDonna Longmore. He is survived by: his siblings, LaDonna Dee and Norman Dean; his son Bradley Charles (Keri) of Callaway; his wife Barb of Callaway; his grandson Blake (Brittney) of Geneva; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Maci and Ryder; his granddaughter Britni Taylor (David III) of Broken Bow; and his great grandchild David IV. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
